  1. IMPORTANT NOTICE: 
  2.  
  3. The enclosed diskette contains the file POETRY.ARC. This is an 
  4. archive file containing "crunched" files. That means the files 
  5. have been made smaller using a special archiving process so that 
  6. they could all be included on a single disk. To "uncrunch" them, 
  7. you need to use the file ARCE.COM, which is also included. Follow 
  8. these instructions to uncrunch your files: 
  9.  
  10. 1. YOU MUST BE USING A HARD DISK: Make sure you are using the sub- 
  11. directory where you want these files to be placed. Start from the 
  12. A> prompt, with the distribution diskette in the A drive. Enter 
  13. the following command: 
  14.  
  15.      ARCE POETRY.ARC C:\SUBDIR /R 
  16.  
  17. Instead of "SUBDIR", type the actual name of the subdirectory you 
  18. want to use. The program will now uncrunch all files and place 
  19. them on your hard disk. 
  20.  
  21. 2. MANUAL: This is in the program file POETDOC.COM. Simply enter the
  22. command: POETDOC
  23.  
  24. 3. STARTING: To run POETRY GENERATOR, start from the prompt and enter  
  25. this command:
